Our Song Lyrics

Listen
Be The Change

Show me somewhere That we can be free

Follow my dreams Those true to me

Allow me to seek The shy ins and outs

Words not spoken By those who need to shout

Reasons of life A humble young man

Scared of life's rays He dare not tan

Lookin forward to livin the life that lies ahead

Spirits are alive We will never be dead

For we have a reason To wake up each day

Something inside That'll never go away

A dream is our reason An ambition inside

Show us the light from which we never can hide

Chorus

You know we have the power

To build a united world

But for some strange reason

It's filled with guns and blood

I don't understand it

But I know we've gotta try

We've gotta learn to be free

Be the change we wanna see

Believe in yourself You'll see what's true

Follow the instincts inside of you

For the only one Who knows what's best

Is the one who controls both active and rest

The sites of the world Seen through your eyes

The cities the oceans cannot be denied

Travel the globe And your lives within

Different styles, different cultures, different people, different skin

Yes we are different No 2 are the same

That's probably the fact that keeps us all sane

Plans to be sorted Decisions to be made

Thoughts of the mind That no one can invade

Chorus

You know we have the power

(have the power)

To build a united world

(united world)

But for some strange reason

(some strange reason)

It's filled with guns and blood

(with guns and blood)

I don't understand it

(don't understand it)

But I know we've gotta try

(we gotta try)

We've gotta learn to be free

(Learn to be free)

Be the change we wanna see

(Change we wanna see)

Be the change we wanna see

change we wanna see
